Here we are, back from the Miss America event! What an amazing experience for the Artistry team. We had the pleasure of having several former Miss Americas visit the MOBE as well as fashion editors and beauty bloggers. We applied their makeup and gave them hand treatments while they took a moment to relax from their busy schedules.
The former Miss Americas were stunning in their own right, so we just wanted to give them a fresh, modern look that enhanced their own natural beauty. We used the Artistry Tinted Moisturiser for their foundation, making sure we were color matching them for the correct shade and used the Artistry True Bronze to warm up their skin tone. For eye color, we used the essentials colour quad, working with the liner shades dampened for a more defined eye liner line. When they needed a little more color for evening, we just popped a little Artistry Eye Colour in Glacier or Tulle to the center of the lid to add some brightness. I am in love with the Artistry Sun Kissed blush. It gave almost everyone a little glow on their cheeks making it seem like they had just returned from a brisk walk. We were lucky enough to have one of the spring trend glosses available which looked great on everyone. (That’s a little hint about spring!)
The final touch was the Artistry essentials Mascara in lots of coats to give a false eye lash look! Here’s a hint: When applying mascara, start at the base of the eye lashes (closest to the lid), wiggle the mascara brush back and forth and then pull the mascara brush slightly up until you have covered the entire lash. This separates each individual lash, applies more mascara at the base of the lash while giving the tips of the lash a beautiful, feathery appearance. Apply multiple coats making sure the mascara doesn’t dry between coats, that way you won’t get clumps.
Next week, we're off to Fashion Week in New York. I can’t wait to share what I learn while there.

Healthy eating on the go doesn't have to be hard. Take a peek below for my suggestions on healthy snacks for runners. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
Grapefruit. Running can damage muscles, and grapefruits are an excellent source of vitamin C, a nutrient that helps sore muscles heal. All fruit contains fiber. An orange will give you seven grams, an apple five, and a banana four. But half a grapefruit provides six grams. WOW! That's great news for your health! As I mentioned earlier, we need to up our fiber and protein intake to stay full...longer. This helps keep bellies from growling mid-run!
Try Nutrilite's ROC2O! For active lifestyles, our ROC2O antioxidant drink mix has been shown in clinical studies to combat increased free radical damage brought on by physical activity. It tastes amazing too! The Red Orange Complex that ROC2O is named after is packed with Vitamin C! Mandarin Orange is my favorite flavor out of the bunch.
Tuna. To help repair muscles after a workout, runners need about 60 to 90 grams of protein per day. That’s more than non-runners need. Tuna is an easy source—just 4 ounces can supply around half your daily protein requirement. Tuna is full of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s are known as essential fatty acids (EFAs) because they're critical for good health. Since the body cannot make them on its own, omega-3s must be obtained from a food source. Next time you head out to grab lunch...think SUSHI! You can feel good about ordering that second spicy tuna roll!

Try Nutrilite's Ocean Essentials Heart Health! These Omega-3 supplements help support healthy blood flow and lipid levels. Out of all the supplements Nutrilite offers... these are one of my top 5 favorites!
Almonds. They're high in protein, heart-friendly, and an awesome diet aid. Almonds are known for their antioxidant vitamin E. These flavorful nuts help prevent achy muscles. Their protein and fiber help you stay full...longer. They're portable and an easy grab n' go snack when you're on the run (literally). Grab a handful for your morning snack or lunch bag.

Amway, and the entire Nutrilite MoBE team, is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and devastation that occurred as a result of the earthquake in Haiti. But we are always willing to assist when disasters occur. Amway immediately donated $100,000 to be divided between American Red Cross and SOS Children’s Village. Many of you share our common concern and are looking for ways to help ease the suffering of those who’ve been affected by this terrible disaster. You can help earthquake victims by making a donation (SKU 10-1872/$10, SKU 10-1873/$25) to relief efforts through AmwayGlobal.com.
We’re proud to have helped in our own way by providing:
- $575,105 in cash donations given by Amway globally, its employees and distributors. Thanks to all who have generously donated to the American Red Cross at www.amway.com.
- 10,000 personal hygiene kits given through International Aid and World Vision.
- 6 corporate jets loaded with medical personnel and supplies dispatched to Haiti.
Help for Haiti is adding up, but the needs are great and increasing every day.
Currently, we are in Miami looking forward to spreading some cheer at the ING Marathon Health Expo. With the marathon around the corner, spirits are starting to brighten. When people ask "why Nutrilite," I can share that we aren't just about making individuals healthy -- we are so much more than that. We are a community that reaches out to help others in need on a global level. Our brand gives hope for a brighter future. Consumers can feel good about taking our vitamins. Not only is it the best thing for their health, but it's helping others in ways they don't even know. It doesn't get much more empowering than that.

Hi, everyone! I’m the newest member of the Artistry Mobile Experience (MoBe) team. My name is Bridgette and I come to the team with lots of experience in the cosmetics industry. My expertise is in makeup artistry so I am anxious to share tips and tricks of the trade with you.
I really can’t wait to tell you about all the experiences ahead of us on the 2010 Artistry MOBE tour. Everyone from our team will be sharing experiences and information with you while traveling back and forth across the US. We'll be telling you our stories on our Blog, and on our Twitter and Facebook pages, so make sure you become a fan and follow us. It's going to be fun!
Our first stop this year is the Miss America Pageant here in Las Vegas. We're spending the long weekend working with the contestants, fashion editors and other participants. In fact, we've already spent time with Katie Stam, Miss America 2009, you can catch a video clip of her on the All Dolled Up blog.
You can tell that Miss America takes incredible care of her skin, which makes me think about a skincare issue we face this time of year. We all have the January blues when we look in the mirror and ask ourselves, where did that great, glowing skin go that I had last summer? Well, Artistry has cutting edge skincare products to help you find your glowing summer skin in the dead of winter. My newest discovery is the Artistry Microdermabrasion system. (Artistry essentials Polishing Scrub, Artistry Time Defiance Skin Refinishing lotion and the MicroExfoliation cloth). Talk about instant gratification! By exfoliating your skin with the Microdermabrasion system, you'll notice that beautiful glow instantly. I tried it using the system as recommended with the Artistry Polishing Scrub and the MicroExfoliation cloth. I followed with the Artistry Time Defiance Skin Refinishing Lotion as directed. Wow, what results! My skin was so clear and bright and my foundation applied to perfection. I actually had someone ask if I had just returned from vacation! Of course, I was happy to share my new found cosmetic “best friend.”
So if you're feeling a little dull and need a boost, use the Artistry Microdermabrasion system (remember to use it as directed) to give your skin an added boost. Another benefit of exfoliating regularly is that all of your skincare product will work more efficiently. And here’s an added tip: don’t forget your hands! While you're putting your face on an exfoliating schedule, do your hands at the same time. You'll get noticeable results with them, too. And, men, exfoliating before shaving will give you the closest shave you've ever experienced.
Try it and let me know what you think.

This is Chad Grabill from the Nutrilite MoBE and I am excited to be kicking off another year at our first event in Phoenix. Besides getting out of the wintry weather and enjoying the warm temperatures here, we were all excited to be at our first of fourteen Nutrilite sponsored Rock n Roll marathons this year. With the 32,000 runners at this first event, it was a great opportunity to show them the great products Nutrilite offers.
Those of you who follow our adventures from the road by blog or Facebook will be excited to know that we’ll be filming short video clips for you to enjoy this year. The first set of these are from the expo as well as the finish line of the marathon and half marathon. We want to give you the same feeling of excitement that we have when watching some of the world’s top runners pass under the Nutrilite logo at the finish line. Look carefully and you’ll see one of our Nutrilite representatives holding the finish line tape in the marathon. Stay tuned for more exciting videos this year.

It’s a New Year, and we’re still going strong on our New Year resolutions. One of mine this year, together with exercising, eating better and managing my time in a more productive way, is to get out of the makeup rut. I’m guilty, like so many of us, of getting in the familiar makeup routine, which can be boring at times.
My resolution about makeup this year is, first of all, to wear it every day. Okay, maybe not every single day, but every time I’m going to be seen in public. Yes, going to the grocery store is considered public. Let’s face it. That’s where you usually run into people you haven’t seen in a while, from ex-boyfriend to ex-boss, to someone on the PTA committee with you, or a business associate. You get the picture! This is going to be my basic, better than bare face. The key is to zero in on a few “can’t go in public without” products. For me they are Artistry Stick Concealer, for the dark circles around my eyes; Artistry Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 15 to make me look like I have perfect skin; Color Quad in Medium from the Artistry Essentials Makeup Kit, to give a subtle glow to my cheeks (Caprice cheek colour); and to make my eyelids more uniform in color (Spun Silk eye colour); Sheer Lip Colour with SPF15 in Sheer Gloss on my lips. I apply Mascara depending on what I’m up to that day. With 4 to 5 of these products I’ll be able to kick off 2010 in style with almost no effort on my part!
Second, I’m going to find my fun and trendy makeup face. That’s going to be something on a funkier side, something I wouldn’t wear to a grocery store, but will for special, fun occasions. I’m going to practice this look, and get it down to five minutes! I’m seeing something colorful. Maybe purple? Something that will make me feel glamorous and stylish.
Third, I’m going to clean out my makeup drawer. If I haven’t used something in it in more than six months I will toss it. In doing so, not only will I be able to keep my first two makeup resolutions, but it will allow me to manage my time better as well!!! Nothing like killing two birds with one stone, or in this case, with a tube of mascara!
Fourth, to make it all even simpler, I will use Artistry’s treatment products religiously! I’m pretty good about it already, but there’s room for improvement -- especially at treating my skin at night. Let’s face it. Good skin=less makeup.
Fifth, I am going to add a foundation to my makeup routine. I have a little secret. Ever since Artistry came out with the Tinted Moisturiser, I have not worn foundation. That’s more months then I’m willing to count. I’m very excited about Artistry’s new Hydrating Foundation! It’s “liquid perfection”! It has a built in SPF of 20 PA+++! My skin will look like it’s never looked before – dewy, glowy and gorgeous!
To be continued…

Brrrrr! Brrrr! Brrrr! It's cold outside. Cold weather makes me want to hibernate with the bears. When the weather outside is frightful, I like to be snuggled up on my couch sipping hot cocoa (with marshmallows....of course). Unfortunately, plopping down on the couch does not qualify as exercise. The sun is rising later and later. It also sets earlier and earlier. Winter can make even the most motivated fitness guru question their commitment to a healthy lifestyle (yes, unfair but true). However, this year I am determined not to fall under Winter's slothfulness spell. In an effort to motivate myself and others to continue to hit the gym in the colder months ahead, I've created a small list of reasons to stay active. I am sharing this with all of you since perhaps, just maybe, there is someone else out there who can relate to my hibernation instinct. We can all use a little push to get into our workout clothes and 'hop' to it. Consider this my nudge.
Think about this.....
It's easier to stick to a fitness program than it is to start up again after months of inactivity. If you continue to stay active in the cold winter months, you'll start the new year off fit and fabulous. Maintaining your health during winter not only keeps you looking great but helps boost your mood, too!
Exercise is an immune system booster. Studies show that moderate exercisers get 20 to 30 percent fewer colds than non exercisers do. The fitter and healthier you are, the more resistance you will have to colds and infections, and you will be less likely to suffer seasonal depression.
Use the winter months to break free from your current fitness routine. Depending on winter conditions in your area, you may be able to conveniently incorporate winter sports into your workout routine. These sports may include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing on hiking trails, ice skating on public ice rinks, and many others.
Give a group fitness class a chance. Trying a class can give you new enthusiasm and boost your fitness motivation. Grab a schedule at your gym and try a new class every two weeks. Trying new things can help you break out of your current fitness rut and banish fitness plateaus!

The Nutrilite MoBE kids returned to Denver this past weekend for the Denver Marathon. Sunday morning kicked off this life size event bright and early. The Denver Marathon is actually the largest marathon event in Colorado. The best part was that the Nutrilite MoBE team was there to leave a perfect impression (even if it was a mile high up in the sky)! We showcased the Nutrilite MoBE to over 12,000 runners who showed up downtown for race day. As always, we had a blast spreading the word about Nutrilite. Pictures will be posted soon!

As we travel from city to city, Chad and I are always asked to give fitness tips and quick nutrition fixes. This inspired me to share a few simple tips for a longer, healthier, and more active life. Every tip listed is a simple step in the direction to a healthier, happier, and more balanced life. Little tweaks to your daily habits can have a huge impact on your overall health. Keep posted on future Health Tips from the Nutrilite Mobile team. Enjoy! ~Heather
Healthy Diet Tip 1: Drink plenty of water and other calorie free beverages.
We all know drinking water is part of a healthy lifestyle. Your body needs water to function optimally. Many parts of the body contain water, including the brain, blood and lean muscle. Water makes up 60 percent of your body weight, on average. Your water needs depend on many factors, including your health, how active you are and where you live. However, it is certain that we need to be drink more!
It is common to confuse thirst with hunger. So when you think you're hungry, you can end up eating extra calories. When in reality, a glass of plain old H2O is really what you need. Water helps regulate body temperature, remove waste from your body, transports vital nutrients and oxygen to cells, and also cushions and protects joints and organs. Make sure you swap your empty calorie drinks for water and other calorie-free drinks.
Also, try to take your Nutrilite vitamins with 16oz of water to ensure you start your day guzzling down H2O. If you want to down a bottle of Perfect Water, that is even better. You can also use Nutrilite's Twist tubes for an easy treat! I personally love the blueberry flavor. The twist tubes make it that much easier to get your standard 64 oz down the hatch.
Healthy Diet Tip 2: Keep a food journal.
Why do food journals work so well? The answer is quite simple. A food journal serves as a powerful tool (and shocking reality check ) that documents what you’re truly eating, not what you 'think' you’re eating. Simply put, seeing is believing. Food journals work because you become knowledgeable and accountable for what you eat. When you jot down every last bite, you realize that you're making conscious choices to either fuel your body with healthy or unhealthy food. As Dr. Phil says, "you cannot change what you don't acknowledge." Being accountable for what you eat will help empower you to make the necessary improvements to your diet.
There are a few options to choose from when starting your personal food journal. You can start with a pocket size notebook and pen. Easy enough, right? For those who prefer to use a template, like myself, you could download one for free by google-ing "food diary template." You may also like the online journal option, where you chart everything you eat for the day on a health website . Our Nutrilite Trim Body System Journal is a great health tool, too!
Healthy Diet Tip 3: Eat Breakfast...every single morning!
Yes, your Mom was right all along. It doesn't matter if you're hungry or not. I strongly urge all of you to throw something in your tummy to jump start your metabolism. It is a fact: people who skip breakfast tend to replace calories during the day with mindless nibbling, and then binging at lunch and dinner. Breakfast will set the tone for the remainder of the day. Period.
The word breakfast originates from the saying 'breaking your fast.' When you skip breakfast, you're setting yourself up for weight loss failure -- you're extending your fast even further. This actually halts your body from producing essential enzymes needed to metabolize fat and aid in weight loss.
Study after study has reported that breakfast eaters are significantly less likely to be obese compared with non-breakfast eaters. Make time to start your day off healthy! For mornings on the go, I always have a Nutrilite Blueberry Crunch bar handy. It's balanced, yummy, and portable. What more do you need?

As our time at the Iowa State Fair getting close to an end, I can't help but to look back at all of the new things I had a pleasure of experiencing here at the fair.
It was my, and Artistry's first time at a State Fair. Since the Iowa State Fair is one of the best and the oldest in the country, it seemed natural for us to be there. One of the goals of the fair is to educate people from all walks of life. Education is what Artistry is all about too. I might not know how to milk a cow, or ride a horse, but I do know a thing or two about skincare and makeup! I hope people who came to the bus learned a few things about proper skin care, and next time they leave their house they will apply sunscreen 30 minutes before sun exposure.
I met many interesting people, and I ate way too many things on a stick. This year the number of foods on a stick was at more than 30! You could have fried candy bars on a stick, meat on a stick, salad on a stick, bacon covered in chocolate on a stick (in case you are wondering, it is not as bad as it sounds!), fruit on a stick, fish on a stick, pretty much anything you could imagine was on a stick at the Fair! I wish I could buy a t-shirt that said if it is not on a stick, I am not eating it! I had a roast beef sundae, greater tators, salt-water taffy, elephant ear, fried cheese curds, fried ice cream, pineapple fluff, and a nut roll all in one day! The only reason I survived that eating extravaganza, was because I shared with a friend! I saw horses, sheep, a bear, the biggest pumpkin on earth, and a sculpture of a cow made entirely out of butter. It was only reasonable to exclaim looking at it - Holy cow! I can't believe it is butter!
I met many people who told me that heir parents used to sell our products, and now that they saw us at the Fair, they are considering getting in to the business. I had a gentlemen stop by, and ask if Amway still had a shave cream in a green can. He told me that his mom passed away 10 years ago, and before she died she bought a few cases of it, and he is finally running out. He was on his last can! I showed him the Tolsom's Shave Gel, and I hope he will give it a try, and like it just as much as the one in a green can. He even brought the can over to the bus one day to show me! Usually I do not support using ten-year-old products on someone's face, but I think this is a unique case, that requires an exception! The gentlemen liked the smell of Tolsom, but he told me that he wishes it came in a travel size. He is not alone! Many IBOs told me how great it would be to see the products in travel size. I could not agree more. As a frequent traveler myself, and as a user of our Time Defiance line, I do wish it came in a travel size. After all, all great things do come in small packages! Right?
We have only two days left at the fair, and I am planning on learning how to milk a cow. I think it will be two dollars well spent, and you never know when that skill will come in handy. I also still have a long list of food to try, and I might even ride a Crazy Mouse roller coaster. It is the least intimidating ride at the fair, besides the rotating strawberries, and I might be the oldest person on it, but I think it will be fun!

On the road again! The ARTISRTY bus is in route to Portland, Oregon.
Although I am excited to explore a new city, I can’t leave without
thanking Seattle for such a wonderful time!
It could have been the sunshine, or the free admission, maybe the five
entertainment stages but the 28th annual Bite of Seattle was the place
to be this weekend. The thousands of participants enjoyed escaping the
90 heat in both ARTISRTY and NUTRILITE air-conditioned units. The
women retouched their make-up that had melted from the heat at the
beauty bars. Proud to report, nobody made it out of the ARTISRTY bus
without a friendly reminder to wear sunscreen!
The ARTISTY team finished our stay in Seattle with a dinner on top of
the scenic Space Needle. With beautiful views of skyline and sound it
was the perfect way to finish our month here. Happy to report I saw a
little bit of everything during our month in Seattle and didn’t have
to pull out the umbrella once!
More from Portland!
Smiles,
Kate

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday on the 4th of July. The NUTRILITE and ARTISTRY crews were fortunate enough to fly back home and enjoy the long weekend with our families. As you know, we've been spending a lot of time on the West Coast lately, and these chronicles come from our last three events in Seattle.
The first stop was downtown Seattle for the Rock 'n Roll Marathon, and the inaugural event for our Rock 'n Roll crew, which turned the former Seattle Marathon into a 25,000-participant race. The health expo was hopping, bringing in runners and enthusiasts from all over! With the Mariners baseball game happening next door, more people than ever came through! The trailer was packed with people dying to get a sip of our grape sports drink, and sneak in a quick massage. Race day was rocking - literally - as we were positioned between the band and the finish line. Thousands flocked over to us, along with hundreds of runners taking a well-deserved rest with their feet in our ice baths.
Our next event was the Kent Cornucopia, south of Seattle, where the streets are lined with hundreds of vendors selling trinkets, clothing, and fresh fruits and vegetables. We wish more people had been munching on the cherries, apples, and blueberries, but unfortunately, the elephant ears and cotton candy seemed to win that battle. I should add, however, that one of the most popular treats was chocolate-covered strawberries on a stick. I guess as Nutrilite brand ambassadors, Heather and I can meet the crowd halfway on that choice!
The Nutrilite MoBE's air-conditioned trailer was very popular, as unusually hot weather came to Kent. I would like to think that people just liked us more than ever at this event, but I have a feeling our 65-degrees kept people lingering a little longer than usual. We actually think this is a good tactic for spreading the word about future events - if only we could find a way to get the MoBE to Hawaii and park it next to the beach! (If anyone could get us there, our driver Bill could. You should see the moves he pulls off with that big trailer!) Of course, we'd strictly be going to Hawaii to promote Nutrilite. Not for the beautiful golf courses, surfing, or delicious coffee. Although, we would wear our Nutrilite shirts while golfing, our Tolsom SPF 15 lotion while hitting the waves, and drink our coffee in logoed Nutrilite mugs. Is someone listening back there in Ada? You can come, too!
Our third event on the Seattle leg brought us directly below the famous Space Needle. The Bite of Seattle event featured a half-million people flooding the grounds looking for good food, music, and maybe even a little shopping. Our MoBE was filled all weekend with excited IBOs and curious consumers. Once again our samples and massages proved to be a crowd favorite as people were lined up to talk to us about the benefits of Nutrilite and try a sample for themselves. The atmosphere at this event for ARTISTRY and NUTRILITE MoBEs was that of a big party! We found ourselves located on each side of a big circle where the stage and the refreshment tent were located. There may not have been a lot of "optimal health" going on in this area, but we did our best to pull people out of the chaos and in to experience two of the top brands in the world.
As we leave Seattle after spending nearly a month in that area, we can boldly say that we only saw rain on one day. We all thougth as we looked ahead a tthe schedule, that our time here would have been spent sitting inside and watching the rain wash the days away. Instead, we leave with stories of meeting awesome people, playing some great golf courses, eating seafood, and driving out of one of the rainiest cities in America with a beautiful, dark suntan!

Hi everyone!
My name is Kate and I am the newest member of the Artistry road team.
I've been on the tour for about a month now. Already in such a short
time, I have been to some beautiful cities and have seen some amazing
things that I can't wait to start sharing with you.
I joined the Artistry team in sunny California and learned the ropes
at events in Anaheim, Oakland and Los Angeles. Now I’m writing you
from scenic Seattle, Washington. As a Starbucks lover (some say
addict) the first Starbucks was one of the most important and crucial
sites to see while here. We also had a chance to see the Mariners in
action at Qwest Field. I have learned the history of the "City of
Neighbors" while enjoying the underground tour. Did you know the city
is more than 4,000 years old? The only problem I've found here is
there is so much to do and I have so little time!
This weekend, you will find the Artistry and Nutrilite teams at The
Bite of Seattle at the Seattle Center. From what I've heard, it's
going to be an action-packed weekend. With more than 100 booths from
the city's finest restaurants, I won’t have to pack a lunch. After you
fill your belly, make sure to stop at the Artistry bus for some rest
and relaxation! Hope to see you there, everyone!!
As for today’s agenda, I am off to go grab a Starbucks and walk
through Pikes Place market. Maybe jump on a ferry to visit on of the
many islands, who knows?
I look forward to sharing all this great
adventure with you. Photos, stories and more to come!
In good health and smiles,
Kate

The Fourth of July is approaching faster than a speeding bullet. With that at hand, I couldn't help but think about the amount we've accomplished since kicking off this year's tour.
We have been on a mission from sea to shining sea - literally. Somewhere along that beaten path, I was thinking about how blessed we have been to meet such amazing people along the way. The amount of encouragement and support we receive from city to city has been overwhelming. Our message of optimal health has been well received by thousands. Reflecting back on those who have shared their personal story and health struggles with me is simply inspiring.
Beyond the marvelous people, each city we visit has its own charm and unique vibe. Our last two events wrapped up our stay in California in a spectacular way. First, it was off to San Francisco for the San Jose Earthquakes pregame event. Immediately, within a blink of an eye, we made our return to Los Angeles for the LA Sol's pregame event. A whirlwind of excited IBOs and consumer swarmed both the ARTISTRY and NUTRILITE Mobile Brand Experiences. The day was complimented by games and "goody bag" treats. The events were full of smiles and belly laughs. We always have a good time no matter where we go!
All work and no play is NOT behind the mission of optimal health. Thus, for the sake of proper balance, the team hit the steep streets of San Francisco, where Fisherhman's Wharf was the first stop of the day. We chowed down on some of the freshest seafood around! I had the best clam chowder in the world there. While dining, we checked out the sea lions that spend their days lounging around, soaking up the sun on Pier 39. They would bob in and out of the crashing waves along the bay, making barking noises and posing for pictures. That seems to be the life for the lazy sea lions. They knew they were charming, too! They captured a piece of my heart without a struggle.
After the team peeled me away from my newly-found marine friends, the crew hit up the double-decker bus in true tourist style. We explored the town from top to bottom. From Chinatown to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, we experienced it all! It was chilly and windy on top of the bus. The sights were breathtaking and made my temporary numbness seem worthwhile. I now knew that Frank Sinatra had it right all along!
Currently, we are headed to the "Sleepless" city of Seattle. Another Rock 'n' Roll Marathon awaits us there. As for this very moment, I am ready for a much-needed nap (sleepless, I will not be!). Spreading the word about NUTRILITE is an endless mission - so I better be well rested. Seattle, LOOK OUT! We're on our way!
- Heather

On May 31st, 2009, runners hit the streets of Balboa Park in San Diego. Be very aware that the Nutrilite MoBE team was there to leave our mark! This wildly popular event has had approximately 20,000 runners participate each year. The Rock'n'Roll Marathon in San Diego was amazing from the registration to the finish line.
This incredibly fun and challenging event surely makes a mess of traffic downtown. The race started at 6:30 am in Balboa Park. While most of us were just brewing our daily coffee, others were lining up to run a marathon. Loads of people turned out, despite starting at the crack of dawn. Visitors and spectators watched as elite athletes, weekend warriors, family and friends took part in the swarm of festivities that graced the day. The runners gave it their all! Blood, sweat and tears of joy were just a glimpse of the efforts that were put forth for the day. The Nutrilite MoBE was there at the finish line welcoming all those who braved the full 26.2 miles. Our iced foot baths were once again a major hit! Runners were delighted to have the chance to take a load off and ice their aching feet.
The team's bags were packed and we once again hit the pavement running. Before I knew it, we were on our way to our next destination. This time Eugene, Oregon (A.K.A. TrackTown, USA), which became our home away from home. On June 7th, historic Hayward Field hosted the the Nike Prefontaine Classic. The Prefontaine Classic is known as one of the nation's premiere track & field meets. Thirty-four (yes, 34!) 2008 Olympic medalists entered in this Track & Field event! That goes to show you how elite this event truly is. These athletes are the fastest of the fast and the best of the best! Since Nutrilite is the best of the best, we just had to be there too!
The 2008 world No. 1 and Olympic bronze medalist Sanya Richards was there to win and be the Nutrilite MoBE's featured guest. She was such a gracious and warm person to each and every fan that lined up and waited patiently to have their chance to meet her at our mobile experience. It was just as exciting to watch her during the event as it was to meet her in person. Nutrilite sure is keeping her healthy and on top of her game. Check out the pictures for yourself!
As always keep watching closely for our updated blogs. Chad and I are working hard on spreading the Optimal Health Word!
